PixAfar (the “Company,” "Site") is committed to maintaining robust privacy protections for its users. Our Privacy Policy (“Privacy Policy”) is designed to help you understand how we collect, use and safeguard the information you provide to us and to assist you in making informed decisions when using our Service.
For purposes of this Agreement, “Service” refers to the Company’s service which can be accessed via our website at www.pixafar.com. By creating an account, using all services, and making purchases on the Site, this confirms you agree to this Privacy Policy.
We collect “Non-Personal Information” and “Personal Information.” Non-Personal Information includes information that cannot be used to personally identify you, such as anonymous usage data, general demographic information we may collect, referring/exit pages and URLs, platform types, preferences you submit, and preferences that are generated based on the data you submit and the number of clicks. Personal Information includes only your name, email, and phone number, which you submit to us through the registration process at the Site.
INFORMATION COLLECTED VIA TECHNOLOGY
To activate the Service you do not need to submit any Personal Information other than your name, email address, and phone number. To use the Service thereafter, you do not need to submit further Personal Information. INFORMATION YOU PROVIDE US BY REGISTERING FOR AN ACCOUNT
In addition to the information provided automatically by your browser when you visit the Site, to become a subscriber to the Service you will need to create a personal profile. SOCIAL MEDIA
If interacting with content through our social media accounts, those sites may share information about you with our Site. This may include your email address and profile name. If you post content to our social media websites or use hashtags, you are giving our Site permission to repost to our social media accounts.
ADDING AND SHARING CONTENT
The Site is a platform that allows users to upload personal photos into world map galleries. All photos uploaded are the property of the user and will only be shared if one of the following applies:
If sharing a world map or individual photo gallery, this Site will use the email addresses provided by the user to send out shared links. A history of these email addresses will be maintained in the user’s personal profile.
If ordering a product from a third-party service, you are granting us permission to share those photos to complete your orders. By sharing your photos with others using shared links, you are also granting them permission to purchase products that contain your images.
PHOTO PERMISSIONS
The Site will not use your photos in our advertisements without written permission from a user. When uploading photos, you are granting permission to the website to access the photos from your computer or device. Information from the photos uploaded may contain metadata captured from your device. This may include the capture time, camera settings, etc.
The Site reserves the right to change this Policy and our Terms of Service at any time. We will notify you of significant changes to our Privacy Policy by sending a notice to the primary email address specified in your account or by placing a prominent notice on our site. Significant changes will go into effect 30 days following such notification. Non-material changes or clarifications will take effect immediately.
